ONLY THREE SPOTS AVAILABLE 

this will be a very small & intimate class, everyone will make the same size drum, a *large* 18” frame drum, the largest size I ever make/ offer (size I’m holding in the picture of me holding the drum) 

this drum size & energy is loud, bassy, a leader, a rhythm keeper in itself, when I received mine it came as a calling to let myself be heard

there is medicine in the size of your drum, if you feel like your spirit is calling in a smaller drum size please wait for the next drum workshop - there will be more

a women’s drum making journey & workshop

november 16th, 2pm-5pm, Hayden ID 

it has taken me some time to be ready for this workshop, being asked to hold it often, and after developing & understanding my relationship to being the rhythm keeper in my life, my relationship to the animals of this land, and my relationship to the medicine that is drumming

here I am, ready

in this journeyed workshop we will gather together in a comfortable, safe & small group of women and;

- discuss the history and significance of european (and world wide) women drummers ~ and how drumming is entwined into our role as rhythm keepers

- experience a guided meditation, journey of the soul, and sound healing experience related to the making of our drums

- pick out our individual drum sizes, and which hide to construct our drums with 

- with guidance and instruction, craft a beautiful and functional raw hide drum that embodies and enlightens your spirit and your role as a rhythm keeper

please bring;

• a journal or paper to write on, & a pen/pencil
• whatever blankets, pillows, or mats you’d like to help you be comfortable & cozy
• a full belly and a couple snacks ~ drink will be provided, food will not

we will be using wooden frames made in the usa, and hides from local animals that I have processed myself

*this workshop will take place in Cataldo, ID

*though I am most often open to having children & babies in my workshops ~ this time I ask that there are no children or babies present so that you can take in this experience fully

*PAYMENTS for your spot in this workshop are most certainly an option, email or message me and we will set up a schedule and get you on the roster. Payments are due in full no less than 10 days before class date
